Right place, wrong time. This is one pint he might live to regret.

Dark and witty British seaside crime that’s still kind of cosy
Book 5 in The Write Way to Die Series
If Amy was a dog, she’d be a bloodhound, and she can’t resist poking her nose in when a killer strikes.
So when Folkestone’s lively summer turns deathly yet again, promises to stay out of trouble don’t last long. The lure of a killer seemingly re-enacting medieval punishments, particularly those involving animals, proves irresistible, and Amy starts sniffing around with her new sidekick, a golden retriever puppy named Jester.

MEET JO
Writing has always been part of my life. Growing up in Dover, with a father who owned the local newspaper and a family history of authors, perhaps it was inevitable. After years of working, raising a family and collecting plenty of life experience along the way, redundancy finally gave me the push to write the stories I’d always wanted to tell.
Today I live on the Kent coast with my partner, photographer Dirk Seyfried, the neighbours’ cats and a very friendly fox called Samantha. My novels combine memorable characters, dark humour and stories that keep readers guessing until the very last page.
MEET AMY
She never means to investigate… it just keeps happening.

If Amy were a dog, she’d be a bloodhound. Curious, determined and completely incapable of walking away from a mystery, she has an uncanny knack for finding herself at the centre of Folkestone’s latest murder investigation. Alongside her best friend Jenny, Amy’s sharp instincts, quick wit and relentless curiosity have made her the heart of The Write Way to Die series.
